Sharing your wishlist with family and friends

Create a private share link, explain what recipients can view and use verified claims to coordinate gifts.

Share a list only after you have checked its product links, recipient name and important variant notes.

Open the list and its sharing controls. Choose the available sharing mode, then create the link. The Free plan supports 1 active share link. Premium supports more.

Send the link by message or email. Do not post it publicly.

What can a recipient see?

A recipient with the link can view the shared list without an account or app. They see the information exposed by that sharing mode, including available product links and claim state where relevant.

They do not receive access to your other lists or list-editing controls.

How does claiming work?

To claim an item, the buyer verifies their email with a one-time code or uses an authenticated Quokit session. The identity step helps Quokit associate and later release the claim.

Claims coordinate shopping intent. They do not reserve retailer stock or complete payment.

Can the list owner see claims?

That depends on the list settings. Premium owners can enable anonymous claims so intended surprises are not revealed in the normal owner view. Without that setting, claim information may be visible to the owner.

Revoke the active link when it reaches the wrong person or the sharing period ends. Create and send a new link to the intended group.

What should you tell recipients?

Use one short instruction: “Open the link to view. Verify your email or sign in if you want to claim an item.”

See Privacy and sharing settings for the access model.
