Fair Use Policy
Guidelines for acceptable use of Quokit
Last updated: June 2026
1. Purpose
Quokit is for personal gift wishlist management and coordination. It is designed for individuals, families and trusted groups saving product links, organising lists, sharing gift ideas and coordinating claims.
Commercial use requires prior written consent from Quokit. This includes using Quokit to operate a business, agency workflow, lead generation process, reseller catalogue, affiliate network, public product directory or other commercial service.
2. Rate limits
Automated or bulk requests are not permitted. Use Quokit as intended through the app user interface. Do not send high-volume requests, scripted saves, credential-stuffing attempts, repeated exports, artificial analytics events or traffic designed to test infrastructure limits.
Quokit may apply technical limits, temporary throttling, account restrictions or other protections to preserve service availability and security.
3. Scraping
Do not scrape, crawl, copy, index, bulk download or extract data from Quokit. If you need your own account data, use the data export feature available from account settings. Data export is provided as JSON and is intended for personal portability, record keeping and account review.
You must not scrape other users' lists, shared links, product metadata, claim information or account-related data.
4. API access
No public API is available in v1. Do not attempt to access internal APIs beyond normal app usage. Do not reverse engineer private endpoints, bypass the user interface, automate claim flows, manipulate subscription state, probe authentication endpoints or rely on undocumented routes.
Internal APIs may change without notice and are not licensed for external use.
5. Sharing
Shared list links are for personal gift coordination with trusted people. Do not distribute share links publicly, post them to public forums, use them for commercial campaigns, sell access to them or use them to collect information from people outside the intended personal gifting context.
You are responsible for choosing who receives your shared links and for removing access if a link has been shared more widely than intended.
6. Content
Do not save illegal content, malware URLs, phishing URLs, harmful content, content that infringes intellectual property rights or content that violates third-party terms of service. Do not use Quokit to facilitate fraud, harassment, abuse, evasion of retailer rules or unlawful purchases.
Quokit may remove content or restrict accounts where content creates legal, security, operational or user-safety risk.
7. Abuse
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is not permitted. You must not share accounts, sell accounts, use throwaway accounts to avoid enforcement, interfere with other users' lists or use Quokit in a way that harms the service, users, retailers or third-party processors.
Attempts to bypass Free tier limits, Premium subscription checks, anonymous claim protections, security controls or rate limits may be treated as abuse.
8. Consequences
Violations of this Fair Use Policy may result in warning, rate limiting, feature restriction, content removal, account suspension or account termination under the Terms of Service. Serious abuse may result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant providers or authorities.
