Once Quokit is installed on your phone, you can save something without opening Quokit at all. Find a product in any app, tap Share, and pick Quokit. It saves in the background and you carry on with what you were doing.
Install Quokit first. Chrome offers this as Install app or Add to Home screen, and the Android install guide covers it step by step. Quokit only appears in the share sheet after it is installed.
Then, from any app:
Quokit takes the link, fetches the title, price and picture, and adds the item. You do not need to wait on the screen.
If Quokit is not in the share sheet, it usually means the install did not finish. Open Quokit from the home screen icon once, then try again. Some phones also hide apps you have not shared to before behind a More button at the end of the row.
Differently, and it is worth being straight about why.
Apple's browser does not support the feature that puts an installed web app into the iPhone share sheet. That is a limit in iOS, not something we have turned off. Adding Quokit to your home screen still gives you the app icon, offline fallback and full-screen view, and the iPhone install guide covers that.
To get Save to Quokit into the iPhone share sheet today, use the shortcut instead. It takes about thirty seconds to set up and then works the same way from any app.
A Quokit app for iPhone is in progress. When it is in the App Store, the share sheet will work without a shortcut.
Use the browser extension. It puts a save button on store pages and lets you right-click any link or image to save it. The extension install guide has the steps.
In your default list, unless you pick a different one while sharing. You can change your default list in settings, and you can move an item to another list afterwards without re-saving it.
The save records the link straight away and then fetches the details. Most items fill in within a few seconds. Some stores block that fetch, and the item stays as a link with the title you can edit yourself. Why some product images do not show explains which stores do this and what to do about it.
