Installing Quokit on a desktop computer
Install Quokit from a supported desktop browser on Windows, macOS or Linux and open it in its own window.

A supported desktop browser can install Quokit as a web app. The result opens in its own window but uses the same online Quokit service.
How do you install from Chrome or Edge?
- Open Quokit and sign in.
- Open the browser menu or select the install icon in the address bar when shown.
- Choose Install Quokit or Install app.
- Confirm.
The exact menu name depends on the browser version.
Where does the installed app appear?
It may appear in the Start menu, Applications folder, launcher or browser app list. You can pin it using the operating system's normal controls.
Is the desktop app different from the website?
No. It uses the same account, features and internet connection. The standalone window removes normal browser tabs and makes Quokit quicker to open.
Can it read lists offline?
No. Private account data requires a connection. See What works offline.
How do you remove it?
Open the installed app's menu or the browser's installed-app management page and choose uninstall. Removing it does not delete your Quokit account or server data.
