What works offline in the installed Quokit web app
Understand the offline fallback page and why private lists, items and occasions still require a connection.

On this page
Quokit's installed web app needs an internet connection for private account data. Installation does not download your lists for offline use.
What appears when you are offline?
The current service worker can show a simple offline fallback page instead of a browser network error. The app icon and fallback assets may remain available on the device.
Which account data is not cached?
Private lists, saved items, occasions, account settings and share data are not cached for offline reading by the web app. Quokit also does not queue web-app edits for later synchronisation.
Can you save a product while offline?
Not through the installed web app. Copy the product link and save it after the connection returns. Native mobile behaviour may differ from the web app and should be checked in its own current help.
What should you do after reconnecting?
Reload Quokit and sign in again if the session expired. The server copy of data saved before the connection was lost remains available.
Why does the offline page not appear?
The service worker may not have registered yet, the browser may have cleared site storage or the browser may restrict service workers. Open Quokit once while online, reload, then test again.
What does installation improve?
It adds a home-screen or desktop icon and opens Quokit in a standalone window. It is a convenience feature, not offline storage.
